I was born and raised in a small Nebraska town. Having no talents other than making a fool of myself, I majored in Theatre at Doane College (now Doane University) in Crete, NE before an eight-year stint in the Navy.
I hold an AS in Application Development from Coleman College in San Diego, CA and a BS in Management Information Science from Bellevue University in Bellevue, NE. After 25 years as a software application developer, I studied photography at Metro Community College in Omaha, NE where I developed an interest in fusing early and contemporary photographic processes.
I served as a Nuclear Electrician on board the USS Alabama (SSBN 731) and a Radiological Control Maintenance Technician on the USS Cape Cod (AD 43). I was honorably discharged on Veteran’s Day, 1989 with a final rating of EM1 (SS).
I currently live in Papillion, NE (a suburb of Omaha) with my wife, Barbara, and have the great fortune to live in close proximity to my daughters and their families.
